Ugly Mug is the House of Harley’s annual comic-art anthology, which ran for four issues in the late 1980s and resumed publication in 2021. Featuring stories and drawings by renowned members of the British small press scene plus global guests.

20th century Ugly Mug
The original 1980s run featured contributors such as Ed Pinsent, John Bagnall, Bob Lynch, Lightning, Davy Francis, John Watson (RIP), Steve Way, Tom Tiffin, Denny Derbyshire, Spencer Woodcock, Chris Reynolds, Mark Robinson, Martin Millard, Carol Swain, Tony Keen, Alan Jeffrey, John Parke, Julian Geek, Marc Baines, Darryl Cunningham, Mike from France, and the House of Harley studio.




All copies from the original run are now SOLD OUT, but occasionally turn up on Ebay and other second hand outlets for exorbitant prices.
